Insight into museum holdings

The conditions and method of obtaining an insight into museum holdings and documentation are determined by the provisions of the Law on Museums and the Ordinance on conditions and manner of insight into museum holdings and museum documentation, Article 63 of the Statute of the Museums of Hrvatsko Zagorje and the internal Ordinance on the conditions and manner of insight into museum holdings and museum documentation of the Museums of Hrvatsko Zagorje.

Museum holdings and documentation are made available for insight for the purpose of scientific and professional processing, exhibition, publication, for journalistic purposes, for teaching purposes and for other justified purposes. Insight into museum holdings and documentation includes: review of materials and documentation, making copies and recordings of originals for further professional and scientific processing, publication and exhibition.

Insight into museum holdings and documentation for commercial purposes is mandatory regulated by a special contract between the museum and the interested party, in accordance with the museum's general acts and special regulations. In order to obtain an insight into museum holdings and documentation, an interested person submits a written request on a special form.
