Development of project documentation and implementation of protection measures for the Oršić Castle, Samci 64, Gornja Stubica
The goal of the operation is the structural renovation of the Oršić Castle, which includes the remedial renovation of the castle and the equipping of the museum storage room (depot) for the storage of museum objects, as well as the implementation of measures for the complete and energy renovation of the Oršić Castle. The structural renovation of the castle will strengthen the structure of the castle, which will better protect the cultural property from further natural disasters and adapt it to modern conditions of use.
The project foresees a complete renovation of the Oršić Castle, which includes moisture remediation, energy renovation, improvement of fire protection measures and ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities and reduced mobility to the extent possible without damaging the important monumental properties of the Oršić Castle. Complete and energy renovation measures contribute to the long-term preservation of all values of cultural property as well as ensure the health and life of people, also energy renovation tend to contribute to the reduction of energy consumption and the decarbonization of buildings through the reduction of CO2 emissions.

The operation is carried out as part of the Call for grants for the implementation of protection measures for cultural heritage damaged in the earthquake on 22 March 2020 in the City of Zagreb, Krapina-Zagorje County and Zagreb County, which is financed from the European Union Solidarity Fund, the Recovery and Resilience Facility and the State Budget of the Republic of Croatia.
