”The Alphabet of the Internet” at the Krapina Neanderthal Museum

Krapina Neanderthal Museum

The Alphabet of the Internet is the name of an interactive play that was performed yesterday, March 27, at the Krapina Neanderthal Museum by actors Ana Vilenica and Tomo Krstanović.

Students in the fifth and sixth grades of Krapina elementary schools, August Cesarec Elementary School and Ljudevit Gaj Elementary School, participated in an interesting and very educational play that aims to educate and raise awareness among children about the good and bad sides of the virtual world. The actors did an excellent job of encouraging children to think about the various dangers of using the Internet and included them in discussions and conversations. In addition to mentioning the positive sides of virtual content, the children also shared their own bad experiences when using various online applications.

The play The Alphabet of the Internet left a strong impression on all participants, drew attention to the numerous traumatic experiences of children due to Internet abuse, and imposed the need for more such educational events that contribute to creating a better and safer society and world.
