Events
An educational program was held at the Krapina Neanderthal Museum to mark the twelfth anniversary of the Ice Age Europe network, which connects important sites with the theme of ice ages and life in the Pleistocene period, and of which the Krapina Neanderthal Museum is a long-standing member.
As part of Ice Age Europe Days, visitors toured the museum's permanent exhibition on Sunday, September 28, 2025, with free expert tours, and a workshop on the woolly rhinoceros for children was also held. The youngest visitors, in addition to receiving a lot of information about this interesting animal species, also made a diorama depicting the woolly rhinoceros and its Ice Age environment.
