Curatorial lecture on the Monument to the Peasants' Revolt and Matija Gubec

In the Studio of the Antun Augustinčić Gallery in Klanjec, on Wednesday, 17 May 2023, at 6 p.m., the museum advisor of the Antun Augustinčić Gallery, Davorin Vujčić, Ph.D., will hold a lecture on the creation and realization of the Monument to the Peasants' Revolt and Matija Gubec in Gornja Stubica.

This lecture, as a continuation of the Curatorial Lectures, is a fitting follow-up to the exhibition The Monument Lasts! Selected fragments of the Monument to the Peasants' Revolt and Matija Gubec from the holdings of the Antun Augustinčić Gallery, which was installed in the GAA Studio space on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the monument's discovery.

The lecture, supplemented by film materials from the museum's documentation, is intended for the widest audience, and admission to the lecture is free.
