Museums of Hrvatsko Zagorje

On Saturday, June 3, at the 9th Toy Festival in Ivanić-Grad, as part of a rich program, the Veliki Tabor Castle, the Krapina Neanderthal Museum, the Museum of Peasants' Revolts and the "Old Village" Museum Kumrovec were presented.

On this occasion, children accompanied by their parents learned about various museum themes through play. The Veliki Tabor Castle museum educator, Kristina Pavlović, introduced the children to Veronika Desinić and the fairy Melusine, and the curator of the Peasants' Revolt Museum, Lidija Kelemen, introduced the children to the world of knights, peasants and nobles in the 16th century. Young visitors to the Festival, in company with the museum educator of the "Old Village" Museum Kumrovec, Mateja Harapin, got to know the traditional toys of the Hrvatsko Zagorje region, and with the museum educatorof the Krapina Neanderthal Museum, Lorka Lončar Uvodić, they played the game Play and Evolve and made a geological fan, thus becoming familiar with the topic of the development of life on Earth.
