Events
On Saturday, June 17, the Krapina Neanderthal Museum held a program as part of the celebration of the European Archaeology Days.
In addition to a free tour of the permanent exhibition and the Hušnjakovo site, numerous visitors, about two hundred of them, had the opportunity to participate in various activities through which they learned about the life of Neanderthals and Stone Age skills. In addition to educational museum workshops held in which spears and prehistoric bags were made, the special attention of visitors was also attracted by an interesting demonstration of stone tool making held by prof. Ivor Karavanić, Ph.D., and children and adults participated with great interest in making stone blades, scrapers and points.
