Workshop ”My Grandmother's Easter Eggs” again this year at the ”Old Village” Museum in Kumrovec

Traditionally, this year we are also holding museum-educational workshops for our youngest visitors, My Grandmother's Easter Eggs.

After a presentation about the contents of the "Old Village" Museum in Kumrovec, children are introduced to the tradition of celebrating Easter in the Hrvatsko Zagorje region. Since the beginning of a new life is symbolically marked by painting eggs, or making Easter eggs, children are sent to explore farm buildings with the aim of finding nests with eggs that they will paint with traditional paint and thus make their own Easter eggs as a souvenir.
