Around the world with Augustinčić

On the occasion of the European Heritage Days 2024 with the theme Celebrating the heritage that connects - cultural routes and networks, on Thursday, October 10, 2024, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., we are waiting for you in the Studio of the Antun Augustinčić Gallery in Klanjec, along with a full-day presentation of our interactive museum game, which we named for this occasion With Augustinčić around the world.

Monuments of our celebrated sculptor Antun Augustinčić have been erected around the world, from Europe and America to Africa. At the interactive kiosk in our Studio, on a touch-sensitive screen, visitors of all ages can play the interactive museum game Geolokator and go on a geographical journey to the cities where these monuments are located.

Let this virtual route encourage us to head towards a better understanding not only of our national and European, but also of other cultural identities in the world.
