Symposium ”Thesaurus of Sculpture” – call for participation

The symposium entitled Thesaurus of Sculpture will be held at the Antun Augustinčić Gallery in Klanjec from 25 to 27 October 2023. It is the fifth in a series of symposia dedicated to sculpture (Sculpture in the Open Air, 2003; Original in Sculpture, 2008; The Problem of Monuments: Monument Today, 2013; Sculpture in the Museum, 2018) with which, at five-year intervals over the past twenty years, the Gallery has encouraged the resolution of professional and scientific (museological, art-historical and theoretical) issues of comprehensive sculpture. Participation in the symposium is possible with or without an exhibition, and applications are accepted until 30 June 2023.
