Veronikafest - Days of Culture in Desinić

As part of the cultural and tourist event Veronikafest in Desinić, on 6 September 2024 (Friday), an eventful program will be held in Veliki Tabor Castle where visitors will be able to enjoy three educational and entertaining workshops for children over 7 years old and adults. The workshops will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

"Archery with a medieval bow and arrow"
In the first part, the costumed knight presents bow and arrow handling and target shooting. After the training, a competition is organized for all participants and the winner is announced, who also receives a written recognition.

"Let's build Veliki Tabor together"
A workshop during which children are introduced to the meaning of Veliki Tabor and its basic parts through a PP presentation. In the second, interactive part of the workshop, children use wooden parts to assemble - build Veliki Tabor or a castle of their own imagination.

"Veronika memory"
The participants of the workshop first, with the help of a visual presentation, get to know the Legend, that is, the oral tradition and its key elements, and then they check the acquired knowledge by combining, in a game with memory cards, the concepts and the associated icons.

The workshops are free for all visitors, and viewing the museum exhibits is charged according to the regular price list.
