The exhibition Branimir Boban – Jelena Čulo – Leonardo Losciale opens in the Studio of the Antun Augustinčić Gallery in Klanjec on Friday, November 15, 2024 at 6 p.m.

The fourteenth exhibition of graduates of the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts in the premises of the Antun Augustinčić Gallery in Klanjec presents graduate works of a wide range of topics: from Branimir Boban's introspective explications, Jelena Čulo's relief inspired by social sensitivity to Leonardo Losciale's intriguing hermetic experiments.

Branimir Boban (Zagreb, 1997) graduated from the School of Applied Arts and Design (majoring in ceramic design) in Zagreb in 2016, where he entered the Academy of Fine Arts in 2017. He opts for small plastic and medal making in the class of prof. Damir Mataušić, and graduated under the mentorship of prof. Igor Ruf in 2024. He participated in several group exhibitions in Zagreb.

Jelena Čulo (Bjelovar, 1993), after graduating from high school in Bjelovar in 2011, completed undergraduate studies in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in the class of prof. Zoltan Novak, and in 2024 graduated from the sculpture department in the class of prof. Neven Bilić. During her studies, she stayed in Spain (Zaragoza, Granada), participated in projects and donor initiatives and in group exhibitions. She presented her paintings independently in Zagreb (KC Mesnička, 2019).

Leonardo Losciale (Bisceglie, Italy, 1985), graduated from the Academy of Music in Zagreb. He is employed at the Zagreb Philharmonic as a timpanist. As a musical soloist, he performed all over Europe. He enrolled in sculpture at Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 2018 and graduated in 2024 in the class of prof. Alem Korkut. He exhibited at several group exhibitions and participated in sculpture schools and workshops. He exhibited twice independently in Zagreb in 2024.


The exhibition, accompanied by a catalog, was realized in cooperation with the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia. The author of the exhibition is Davorin Vujčić, and it can be viewed every day, except Mondays, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The exhibition will remain open until January 15, 2025.
