Opening of the exhibition ”17th Zagorje Souvenir Triennial”
On Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 6 p.m., the Peasants' Revolts Museum opens the traditional exhibition of the 17th Zagorje Souvenir Triennial at the "Old village" Museum in Kumrovec.
The Zagorje Souvenir Triennial has been organized by the Peasants' Revolts Museum since 1978 and is the first project in Croatia that professionally promotes the production of artistic and traditional souvenirs. The aim of the exhibition is to encourage craftsmen, artists, associations and amateurs to create new souvenirs that combine the tradition of the Hrvatsko Zagorje with contemporary interpretations of elements of intangible cultural heritage.
The works at this year's triennial were inspired by the Peasants' Revolts Museum and the Antun Augustinčić Gallery, and during the opening ceremony, awards and recognitions will be awarded to the authors of the most successful souvenirs, as decided by the expert committee.
The author of the exhibition is Lidija Kelemen.
The exhibition will remain open until August 30, 2026.
