The Great Peasants' Revolt in the works of Zorislav Drempetić Hrčić

In the Museum of Peasants' Revolts, in memory of the painter and the event in 1573 in which Croatian and Slovenian peasants raised their voices demanding basic human rights, the exhibition The Great Peasants' Revolt in the works of Zorislav Drempetić Hrčić was opened. Zorislav Drempetić Hrčić paid tribute to the defeated fighters with his pictures. However, Drempetić did not only contribute to the preservation of the memory of the Great Peasants' Revolt with his paintings, he also dedicated the largest part of his professional life to the Museum where his exhibition was set up.
