WORKING HOURS

From 1 April to 31 October 2024:
• Tuesday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Saturday - Sunday: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
• Monday: closed

Note:
The last entrance to the museum is half an hour before closing for individual visitors, or one hour for group visitors.
The museum is closed to visitors on All Saints' Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas, St. Stephen's Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day and Easter.
The museum is open to visitors on Three Kings Day, Easter Monday, Labour Day, Statehood Day, Feast of Corpus Christi, Anti-Fascist Struggle Day, Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day, Assumption of Mary i Remembrance Day for the Victims of the Homeland War. On holidays and public holidays, the museum is open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

** A family ticket includes the visit of parents with minor children and includes a maximum of two tickets for adults.
*** Group discounts are available only when paying in cash or by invoice. Two guides per 30 persons are entitled to a free ticket.
The discount can only be used on one basis.

SPACE RENTAL

Hall of the Krapina Neanderthal Museum

2,655.00 € up to 8 hours,
every additional hour 66,00 €

The rent includes the use of 100 chairs, a projector and projection screen, lighting (floor, wall and ceiling), PA system and air conditioning/ventilation, as well as the duty of two museum workers. Space can be rented only outside the museum's opening hours. The preparation time is counted in the time of space rental.

USEFUL INFORMATION

People with disabilities can move through the museum with an escort, while the use of the hiking trail to the site is not possible due to the unsuitable terrain. Public parking is located in the immediate vicinity of the museum.

Important:
We kindly ask all visitors to follow the museum tour rules, which include not entering the museum building with backpacks, food and drinks, as well as other items that may damage or dirty the exhibits or make it difficult to move through the museum. We also ask that information kiosks and other interactive programs be used carefully. Please note that photographing and filming are not allowed in the museum. Animals and pets are not allowed.
