Phase II of the Structural and Energy Renovation of Oršić Castle

Project Identity Card
Preparation of Project Documentation and Implementation of Protection Measures for Oršić Castle, Samci 64, Gornja Stubica
The objective of the operation is the structural renovation of Oršić Castle, including remedial works on the castle and the equipping of a museum storage facility (depot) for the storage of museum objects, as well as the implementation of comprehensive and energy renovation measures.
The structural renovation will strengthen the castle's structure, providing better protection of the cultural heritage property against future natural disasters and adapting it to contemporary conditions of use.
The project envisages the comprehensive renovation of Oršić Castle, including moisture remediation, energy renovation, improvements to fire protection measures, and the provision of accessibility for persons with disabilities and reduced mobility to the extent possible without compromising the essential heritage values of Oršić Castle.
The comprehensive and energy renovation measures will contribute to the long-term preservation of the cultural heritage property's values and to safeguarding people's health and lives. The energy renovation will also contribute to reducing energy consumption and the decarbonisation of buildings by reducing CO₂ emissions.
